Each month Chapter U publishes a Newsletter with information on National, Regional, District and Chapter events and news articles. Also included are stories on some of Chapter TN-U ride adventures as well has motorcycle safety issues. Articles are published in PDF format using Adobe reader 9. NEW CHAPTER STUFF

Beginning with our next gathering on August 10 we will draw an active Chapter U participants membership number. The lucky member will receive $ 20 dollars. In order to collect the money they must present a valid GWRRA membership card. If the winner is unable to present their card or is not in attendance $ 5 dollars will be added to be drawn at our next gathering. And if that ain't enough, each member attending who is wearing their Chapter shirt or vest will receive one additional 50/25/25 ticket. Oh,,,,,,there's more. Lois or Darlene will still be collecting your quarters for the Chapter lottery. Make sure you give them a quarter each time you attend any Chapter U ride, gathering, picnic, or any other function. Keith Bilbrey would have been the lucky winner, but alas he was not at the last gathering. So it rolls over till our next gathering.

The Tennessee District Perimeter ride is fast approaching. Check out the District Website for the schedule. Join anywhere along the route and go as far as you want. Three Chapter U couples are planning on riding the complete route. Please join us.

The first official anniversary picnic planning meeting took place August 1. Twenty plus people attended and in addition to the planning a whole lot of food and beverages were consumed. It's good to get together, socialize and enjoy each others company. The planning is well under way and assignments passed out. We will communicate often to make sure everything goes smoothly. I will follow-up with each responsible person to make sure we hit the marks with time to spare. No surprises! Ron
